We made this Pecan Pie recipe for Thanksgiving dessert. This recipe creates a sweet buttery flavor that is very delicious.
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter (1 stick - melted)
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon flour
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup pecan halves
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Whipped Cream
Mix light brown sugar, sugar and eggs until creamy. Add chopped pecans, melted butter, milk, flour and vanilla. Stir until mixed. Pour mixture into pie 9" deep dish pie shell. Arrange pecan halves on top in circular design.
Bake at 325 for 55 minutes. The pie should be firm with a slight jiggle in center.
Serve with natural vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream.
